So today I went to my nearest shopping centre with my friend and as usual, I ended up spending much more than I intended. However, I realised that it was all skincare/beauty items which is what I base most of my blog around so I thought that I’d make a beauty and skincare haul post from it. This is my first haul on my blog so I’m really excited to be sharing it with you!
So I managed to get this face mask for free since I managed to save 5 of my empties! I think this trade programme by lush is such a great idea as it helps contribute to saving the planet! I was tempted to get the cupcake face mask again since that smells divine. Despite this, I decided that I’d go for a new one in this beauty haul to test it out. This is especially since the woman who worked there said that it’d help with my oily skin. This one smells of citrus fruits and the bright blue really caught my eye! I’ve used it already and since writing this post, it’s made it onto my post of skin saving face masks.
I’ve never heard of this brand before, however, I got it from TK Maxx and the cute packaging stole my heart. My skin suffers from breakouts quite regularly and the charcoal face wash from Biore seems to really help. This smells of cupcakes and I’m absolutely ecstatic that I picked it up during this beauty haul! It’s very suitable for dry skin as it doesn’t set like many clay masks. However, it’s also suitable for oily skin which is my skin type. It makes your skin feel very soft and clean and washes away easily.
I’ve heard so much about this cleanser on Instagram so I was really excited to get this. Luckily, Boots sell a smaller £10 version which is the one I purchased so I can test it out before I buy the full-size. I think this Wintery packaging is adorable and even if I don’t end up liking it, this tin will make for some cute Instagram photos! It also helps make a cute stocking filler! This is a cult product for so many and I’m hoping that it’ll live up to expectations! I may even do a comparison post as I’ve heard that Superdrug do a great dupe to this. I tried this product for a couple of weeks and a full review of the hot cloth cleanser is now up on my blog.
This is definitely a mask that I’m more excited for as its gold and Korean! I absolutely love Korean skincare as it makes my skin feel so soft and hydrated without being oily and the packaging of Oh K! products are adorable! I particularly like them in Winter because despite my overly oily skin, I do feel that sheet masks help with my hydration and keeps the oils a little more at bay. They’re also fun to do and I always end up scaring my family with them!
Summer may be over but Summer skin is my absolute favourite and it seems as though I may be able to recreate it with this small set that includes the backlight priming filter and the sunlit bronzer. I have already unboxed this and the bronzer is shimmery which isn’t what I usually go for so I’ll definitely let you know how I get on with that though that’ll probably be on my Twitter. The primer is also something I’m looking forward to as it claims to be a “filter” and anything that can promise that has set themselves a high bar to reach. This set actually encouraged me to purchase the full size primer and I have a review of both the backlight filter and Fenty pro filt’r on my blog.
Holler and Glow Glitter Glow face mask
As soon as I saw this, I picked it up as I figured that it would be a dupe to the glam glow glitter mask which I’ve been wanting for some time now. I’ll be using it tonight and I intend to do a first impressions blog on it! It was also intrigued as the price tag is considerably smaller than the one attached to the glam glow one also! I love glitter masks as they’re so fun to peel off once dried!
Primark polar bear slippers
These were simply too cute not to buy and who doesn’t love a warm pair of slippers during winter! I love slip on slippers as they’re so soft and generally don’t fall off! I have slippers where you have to uncomfortably curl your toes to keep them on!
Primark Cleansing mittens
These are what I’m planning to use to remove most of my makeup before using the Liz Earle face wash as you can simply wet them with water and they’ll remove all your makeup! I’ve had one previously yet sadly lost it so I snatched these up in Primark where they came in packs of 3 for £2.50! Not only will they keep your purse happy but they’ll keep the environment happy. They are claimed to be an eco-friendly alternative to cotton pads! In my pack, I got 2 white and 1 pink! These are so good at removing your makeup though I do suggest that you cleanse after to ensure your makeup is off! In my opinion, these are essential for a beauty routine and I’m glad I grabbed them in this haul!
Rose Gold Eyelash curler
I lost my eyelash curlers literally years ago but I had been too lazy to repurchase a pair. When I saw this cute one in Primark though for only £1.50, I had to buy it! Rose gold is my weakness and at times I’ve purchased unnecessary items simply because they’re in rose gold. I may need to control that problem! I love curling my eyelashes as even without mascara, my eyelashes look so much longer; they were much needed in this beauty haul!
And finally, that’s the end of my haul! I hope you enjoyed reading and if you did please like and subscribe to my blog!
Let me know if you have any of these products and your opinions on them!
