Is it really Christmas if you haven’t had a Christmas Lush product? Whether it’s a bath set or a soap or even just a festive lip scrub. Lush products never fail to get me in the Christmas spirit!
Snow fairy is my absolute favourite festive Lush product and this year they haven’t held back. They’ve bought out a whole collection of snow fairy products and I love it! So, on a recent shopping trip, I decided to purchase the new body conditioner. As well as the conditioner they have a shower gel, body spray, fun, jelly bomb and 2 bubble bars. I was in heaven when I saw the new arrivals!
I love anything pink so it’d be no surprise that I love this line from Lush! For some reason, their products that are pink just seem to smell the best! I used to be in love with their marshmallow bubble bar but unfortunately, that was discontinued, they do however have a bath oil for this so I may try this out! I also love the Rockstar soap, that also smells like candy floss so it’s a substantial substitute until Christmas rolls around again!
The snow fairy scent is very sweet and smells of bubblegum and candy floss so I’d say it’s definitely not a scent for everyone but I personally love it! I wouldn’t say it reminds me of Christmas though but more of childhood and funfairs!
So I used it in the shower and I love it! I may be slightly biased since I love the scent but I really did think that it was moisturising. My legs feel so soft after using it and of course they smell good enough to eat (although I don’t recommend that you do eat your own legs!). To use it, I apply it once shaving then leave it for a couple of minutes so it can really work. After those couple of minutes, I rinse it off and the scent is gorgeous, it really scents the whole of my downstairs.
I also like the fact that there’s glitter in the product as it’s iridescent and leaves my legs slightly shimmery though not overwhelming which is something that I prefer; no one wants to walk around with disco legs! It really makes my legs look much more moisturised since my legs are very dry. Thanks to the iridescent glitter, it also matches my Anastasia Mood Child glow kit which I do tend to use more in winter thanks to its cool tone highlighters.
It’s creamy but not very thick, though a little goes a long way! I use mine all the time and it’s hardly gone down at all! It was my first time using a body conditioner and it was a really good product! I wasn’t sure what to expect but I’m glad I went out on the whim to buy it. In all honesty, I bought it just for the scent but I’ve also enjoyed the benefits that it’s had on my dry skin. My legs have never looked so good!
Like all lush products, it’s vegan and it’s thanks to Mango and Avocado butter as to why it’s so moisturising. Lush is one of my favourite body care brands thanks to its anti animal-testing beliefs. They’ve even had campaigns in the past against it as they believe so strongly about it.
Since I’ve only used it once I can’t give much more of an opinion but I definitely like it and I can see myself using it a lot more over this holiday season! I can see myself using it after Christmas too!
