The world holds so many gorgeous places and I hope that one day I’ll get the chance to explore it all. I haven’t really travelled very far from my home country, the furthest being Walt DisneyWorld in Florida which was an absolute dream come true!
That was the 2nd time I’ve ever travelled out of England, the first being Paris with school when I was 12.
So, read below my list of places that I long to visit!
There’s also one major reason as to why I want to visit here, and that’s the blue lagoon! I would absolutely love to lounge there all day and take advantage of all the skin benefits that it boasts. It is quite pricey but surely the endless facials and insta-worthy shots make up for it? I’d like to find out! I’ve also heard that Iceland is a good place for the Northern Lights so if that happened to be during my trip, I don’t think anything could top it.
I feel like this may not be on most people’s lists but it’s on mine as I said, it’s a huge dream of mine to see the Northern Lights. The photos taken of them are absolutely breathtaking and I’d love to lie on the ground and simply watch the natural light show. There’s also other places to see the northern lights but I’ve heard that Alaska is the most reliable. It’s also home to some of the most amazing scenery, especially since I love snowy scenery, it’s not that often that it snows in England!
I’d love to go here when I have children for Christmas because from what I can tell from videos, it looks absolutely magical! You can go on a husky safari, feed reindeers, learn elves’ Christmas traditions and discover a new underground world! I feel like this would be a once in a lifetime, unforgettable trip and it’s one I really hope will be a reality in the future. Who wouldn’t want to meet the real Santa Clause?
4. New York
Of course this is for the shopping! Who hasn’t wanted to pretend they’re Blair Waldorf or Serena Van Der Woodsen swarmed with shopping bags full of luxuries! Most of us probably couldn’t afford it but it’d be lovely to spend the day pretending you could, and even if you don’t buy anything, you’d still be taking home lots of insta-worthy shots and an experience of the high-life. I’d also like to visit here to have a taste of city life since I’ve grown up in a small town that’s nowhere near as exciting as bustling city streets. I can imagine that living there would be slightly overwhelming so I’m willing to settle for a temporary visit there. Then, to top it all off, it’s the home of Hershey’s world and who doesn’t love chocolate?
More specifically, the Pink Sand Beach. It makes a difference from the white sand that you’re so used to seeing and if you love all things pink, like myself, then it looks like paradise! I’ve also heard that there’s hardly any shells and seaweed which is a bonus for me as I hate accidentally treading on the shells and hurting my foot! There are tiki bars nearby which have also appealed to me as they always look so cute and tropical on photos!
The thing that really stood out to me about this was the capsule hotel, they look so modern and cool that I just want to see what it’d be like. Instead of getting a room, you get a pod-like space that has just enough room for you to sleep. Some are bigger than others but the concept is all the same. There’s also Disneyland Tokyo and this is said to be one of the most advanced theme parks in the world due to their growing discoveries on animatics. I’d love to discover all the futuristic rides there and how much more advanced it is to other theme parks that I’ve previously visited.
This is for animal related reasons. It’s home to giraffe manor which is a holiday home where you can share meals with giraffes as the windows are always open for them to look in and I think it would be amazing to get so close to them, but there’s also a nursery for orphaned elephants. Elephants are one of my favourite animals and the baby orphan elephants are so cute that I wouldn’t be able to resist helping them!
The museum hotel here absolutely steals the show! You can overlook hot air balloons from your hotel room which is built inside of a cave. It offers a true fairytale experience and looks like a very relaxing location for a holiday which is what many seek when planning an ideal holiday. Visiting this hotel, matched with the warm weather would make for a serene holiday.
The Karsa spa here allows you to bathe in flower petals that looks so cute and luxurious. I’ve never really been to a spa before yet this one looks gorgeous and the location only adds to its appeal. It’s also outside meaning you can enjoy nature as you relax and unwind.
I’d really like to visit the salt flat here. It’s one of the emptiest places in the world and I think it’d be good to disconnect for a while. Also when the surface is wet, it’s like a huge mirror thanks to the surface being completely flat. It’s scary how reflective it is as I’ve seen mirrors that aren’t as clear as this plain.
Obviously, the reasons listed aren’t the only reasons as to why I want to visit these places but they’re the main ones that grab most of my attention!
Where is your dream vacation?
