Go big or go home. Why go for a subtle highlight when you get highlights so shiny it’s as though you have a mirror on your cheek?! I personally love the intense highlight look and because of this, I’ve managed to test a fair few and have rounded up a list of some of my favourites. These are products you should definitely invest in if you want to go full glam as they definitely won’t disappoint!
Mac Soft and Gentle
This used to be a cult for so many youtubers and I can see why. It can be worn subtly but when it gives a glow as blinding as it does then it’s hard not to get carried away. This was the first highlight I ever purchased and I didn’t hold back since I went straight for a high-end brand! I especially love this product because usually Mac products break me out but this one luckily doesn’t which is amazing since I can’t get enough of this champagne sheen. It’s perfect for parties and I always get compliments when I wear it which is always a bonus. For me, I’d say it’s definitely worth the splurge.

The balm Mary Lou-Maniser
Honey golden glow. I love it. I received this highlighter as a Christmas present and if I’m being honest, I wasn’t expecting much. In the pan, it doesn’t look all too good but it’s so finely milled that the pigment and payoff is unbelievable! I’m so glad I received this as a gift because I don’t think I would’ve bought it myself and then I would never have been able to appreciate how pretty it really is. I also feel like due to its colour, it could suit a lot of skin tones from light to dark. It suits my skin perfectly!
Anastasia Glow Kits
Legendary. I have both the Sundipped and Moon Child and although I do love moon child, some shades aren’t wearable for everyday and aren’t as pigmented as I’d like. Sundipped however, is my holy grail! It’s great for a sun-kisses glow and all the shades are extremely shiny and glowy! I love it so much. It also has shades for a range of skin tones but I’d say that most of the shades are more suited to darker skin tones which is amazing since more makeup brands are bringing out more inclusive makeup! Due to the high-quality of my glow kits, I can imagine that others are of this same standard and I’m looking to invest in another soon!
Sleek Cleopatra’s Kiss
Oh my goodness, this is absolutely amazing palette! The gold packaging gives it’s a very luxe appearance and the shades are extremely pigmented and pretty. Also in this palette there’s 2 powders and 2 creams. Each shade is gorgeous on its own but if you apply a powder highlight over the cream one then you’re guaranteed a glow that’s out of this world! This is also a drugstore option if you need a glow on a budget, it’s $14.99 or £9.99 depending on where you live and you get 4 shades which makes it great value for money. I loved this palette so much that I also bought the Solstice palette.
Cover Fx Drops
Now, for those who like a liquid highlight, you get definitely build up a head-turning glow with these. I bought mine when I went to America and bought a set of 4 travel sized bottles from Sephora. To ensure you get the most intense sheen, I recommend you put the drops on before powder and after, I feel like if you only do one then it’s not as intense as I prefer though the natural look that these can create is also extremely pretty. I got a champagne-like shade, 2 golden shades and an iridescent one and I feel like all 4 of these can all be worn on a daily basis, especially because the iridescence isn’t too overwhelming. They’re also extremely light-weight if that’s what you prefer though my only disadvantage is how quickly these dry down, you need to be prepared to get those muscles moving to blend as soon as they’ve been applied!
So that’s all I have for this post! I hope I have persuaded you purchase one of these glow-givers and if you have another suggestion then please leave it in the comments to share with everyone else!
I’ve always wanted to try the Mary Lumanizer highlighter but for some reason never got around to it.

Thank you so much! ?
I am so cosmetically challenged when it comes to contouring, highlighter, etc. I really should sit down and put the work into learning how to do it. If I do, I’ll definitely be checking out the products you recommend here.

Thank you! Contouring does require time but highlight is very simply, just brush it on!
