These posts are quickly becoming my favourite as I love to share my monthly designs with you and this month, I went with a Mickey and Minnie Mouse theme along with love hearts in honour of Valentine’s Day! Unfortunately, I’m spending it alone again but my bullet journal will get me through it!
Cover page
So I saw this idea and I thought it was really cute, I was also glad that I didn’t have to draw faces, especially because I didn’t want to ruin this theme! My calligraphy here is pretty bad but I do promise that it gets better later on! I actually did this spread a lot earlier than the rest of it so that’s why it’s not as polished as the others seem to be.
Monthly spread
I really loved the simplicity of the calendar last month so I decided to bring it along into this month with space below to write down important dates and events that will be happening. I really liked the idea of adding Mickey ears for the days and little hearts to decorate. This is an idea I’ve incorporated into more of my spreads this month.
Step and study tracker
I really like this one, it’s quite simple and I like my calligraphy attempt for once! Last month I didn’t really study as much as I could and that’s because I didn’t really track my study. I like to see the amount of hours I’ve put in as it motivates me. As for steps, I’d like to improve the number of steps I do, I generally do 6000 a day, I’m hoping to increase that to 8000 and maybe 10,000!
Mood tracker
This is the “odd one out” for the month as it’s based on the love heart sweets rather than Disney. It’s definitely not a perfect spread but it’s simple and I think that this will encourage me to keep up and on top of it, especially since I wasn’t amazing at being organised last month. I didn’t fill it in as much as I hoped! I really think that this spread will look better once it’s coloured in so I’ll keep that thought in mind as the month goes on.
Bible quote
Short but sweet and it kind of ties in with the romantic theme. I also think it’s a good message to pay attention to, always do everything with love.
Dream log
This page has lots of space to track my dream though I do have to admit that the Mickey and Minnie look slightly creepy due to the abnormally long necks, I’m not great at art in case you couldn’t tell! It’s never been my strong point though I am quite happy with how my bullet journal has turned out, despite not being all too creative at all!
Weekly spread
Mickey heads are back and so is this style of weekly spreads! If you saw my December set up then you’d know that my weeks were set out like this then! However, at the bottom of this month, I have a box to for gratitude so I can jot something down everyday for something that I’m grateful for! It really helped throughout January as even on bad days, I still found something that I could appreciate.
Favourites
I always seem to like my favourites spreads and this month is no exception but I’ll let you in on a secret: the January part was not supposed to be there! I went to start writing February but I began to write January instead! However, I don’t think it looks too bad, and it brings a little flair to this layout that hasn’t been used before, making it unique!
So once again, my bullet journal post has drawn to an end, but I hope you enjoyed it!
Comment your fave page of my spread or what your bujo theme for the month is!
This is sooo cute! I love February so much! This post makes me want to start bullet journaling I just feel like I wouldn’t be able to make it as pretty as this! Great post girly!!
Thank you so much! I definitely recommend bullet journaling! It doesn’t have to be fancy at all, I’ve seen so many cute minimalist designs on Instagram, I just prefer a little more colour as it motivates me to keep on top of it, it’s great to plan everything! Xx
