So recently I went to one of the Kaspa’s dessert houses since I’d been wanting to go for while but never really got round to it. Luckily, I managed to find a day when a couple of friends and I were free and we decided to go, I was especially excited because I’d been hooked on the idea of visiting when I discovered they sold cookie dough. Now I absolutely adore the cookie dough Ben and Jerry’s so I was dying to get my hands on this to try!
So I’m not sure if it’s the same for all of the Kaspa’s restaurants but the decor is amazing, it’s very American diner themed and I personally loved it, it looked very sleek and cool. It was black and pink themed which I also loved.
Now I know that I really wanted to try the cookie dough but when I saw the full menu, I was very nearly swayed to change my mind! Everything looked to die for but I kept my word and opted for the bueno cookie dough which a scoop of choc peanut butter ice cream!
I won’t lie, it was very sweet, almost sickly, especially since their was white chocolate in the middle but it was very soft and gooey which I liked and since the ice cream wasn’t overpoweringly sweet, it did take the edge of a little so I managed to demolish most of it, not quite all! Although I really enjoyed it though, I probably wouldn’t get this particular one again.
Now for drink, I opted for a really fun option of a bubble slush. I chose the pineapple and passion fruit flavour slush with lychee juice balls.
So, the juice balls were not what I was expecting at all! They just pop in your mouth and I wasn’t sure if I liked it or not! The flavour was great but every mouthful had at least one lychee ball! I’d never had bubble tea or anything like that before so this was a completely new experience for me and I’m glad I tried it since it was unusual and the strange thing is that I probably would have this again! I might even go for another flavour next time. I’d gone for this drink in the first place since I was having a very chocolatey dessert so I didn’t want a chocolate bar milkshake because I’m almost certain that that would make me sick! I’m a huge sweet tooth but I think that would be too much even for me!
Have you ever been to a dessert house and what were your opinions?
