My favourite type of post is back and I’m so happy with April’s spreads.
If I’m being honest, I didn’t keep up with my journal as much as I would have liked in March but I’m determined to get back into it and I’m hoping the pretty spreads will help with that!
Front page
So as you can see, my theme is a blossom/flower theme. I got the inspiration from a bullet journal Instagram account and it was so cute that I decided to try and recreate it. My favourite colour is pink so I’m glad that I was able to use this as a main colour throughout this month. I was also really pleased with how the title turned out too as I think it does look a little 3D due to the shadow effect I’ve tried to create.
Monthly log
This may be my favourite spread of this month if not the whole of my billet journal so far! It’s just so pretty and pink and I love it. I don’t however love the fact that I have a chemistry mock as you can see! I think this turned out wayyy better than I was expecting and I didn’t mess up at all on this which seems to happen quite a lot with my monthly logs for some reason! Maybe I like it so much because it’s the first time I haven’t messed up!
Study log
I decided to implement this log again since I’m getting even closer to exams now so I need to do as much revision as possible and I thought it could be a good idea to track it to make sure I’m prepared for exams. I didn’t really utilise it as well as I could in March so hopefully this month I’ll keep on top of it so I can get a true representation of the studying I’m doing so I can truly see if the revision is sufficient enough. I will definitely be studying more over the weekends this month!
Mood tracker
It’s not my favourite but it’s not the worst! I also like the little reminder to smile in the corner! I feel like once all the flowers are coloured in then it’ll look better and it does fit the theme I’m just not completely satisfied with it but I’ll definitely try my best to keep it up. I also have 4 colours this time instead of the standard 3 so we’ll see how this plays out and how many amazing days I’ll have!
Bible quote
A very simple quote this month but very specific to this time of year as we approach Easter. I tried to keep the theme incorporated with the pink to draw the crosses which I think did work and I like how I did the small crosses around the text and the bigger ones around the edges I also added some green dots since the flowers have some leafs/dots by them.
Dream log
I used this spread quite a lot last month as I had quite a lot of dreams, most quite interesting! I hope that this month I’ll also get to write down all my dreams and they’ll be as fun to read back on as this months as they were quite strange. I’m thinking of doing a post on them where I just write what I’ve dreamt about. It may be quite hard to explain but I’d definitely give it a go!
Weekly spread
This one is quite simple but it’s the simple layouts that I generally stick to and keep up so hopefully it’s as successful as it was in December where I fully utilised the weekly spreads to keep me on track with revision and working out. It’s especially important at this time as I’m getting so close to my exams now and I really need the good grades.
This is kind of a new spread because I’ve not done this page before but I have incorporated these ideas in my bujo before. I’ve had a small area for gratitude in my weekly spreads previously and a half page dedicated to memories and I didn’t have a memories page last month which is a shame because I love to read back on old memories. I ties into gratitude as my good memories remind me of why I should be grateful.
Favourites
This page always seems to be my favourite but I think this month, it may have just been beaten by the front page! I do really like this layout though and I think I’ve got into the habit of laying it out in these 4 sections. I always make sure to put as much music in that section as I have a playlist where all my song included are on and I always like to listen to the songs again and remember why I liked them so much!
What’s your bullet journal theme this month and if you don’t have one what’s a good theme idea?
I absolutely adore your bullet journal! Your layout is absolutely stunning!
