So I’m a bit late I know, but I haven’t done a favourites post in ages and I’ve actually found some really good things this month that I really want to share with you, so if you enjoy reading these posts as much as I do then let’s get into it!
1. Faceless – book by Alyssa Sheinmel
I’ve been addicted to this book since I started to read it. It’s such a page turner and an eye-opener! It’s about a girl who loses most of her face in a burns accident and the story shows how her life is affected after her face-transplant and how her relationships with her loved ones change just because she looks so different. I’ve really being enjoying reading again recently, I’d been slacking for months but I’m so glad that I delved back into it and chose such a good book!
2. Anastasia Glow Kit in Sundipped
So I’ve definitely raved about this product a lot on my blog but this month I’ve loved being able to use the deeper shade as a contour shade. It gives such a glowy, sunkissed, bronze look that it’s become my go-to bronzer. I got this idea from a youtuber and I was skeptical at first due to it being so shimmery but I’m so glad that I took the plunge and tested it out. If you want the sunny look then I recommend you use this tip. As well as it being a bronzer, the other shades are great for the main purpose of the palette- highlighting!
3. Becca backlight priming filter
This is my go-to product when I’m not wearing makeup. It makes my skin glowy and slightly blues my imperfections which I love although I do wish my skin was more clear so I could look flawless with it on. I got this in a set from TK Maxx a while ago and it still has product left. When I run out, I will 100% repurchase this product! It’s an essential!
4. Scrunchies
They been creeping back into style for months now and I’m totally here for it! I’m building up quite the collection now. I have 2 fluffy ones and 3 plain ones then I also have one with ribbon attached that I think may be my fave! I think they look cute with any outfit and in my opinion, look best with ‘messy’ hairstyles which is a big bonus for me since I love to just throw my hair up with little care. They’re also super cheap! Especially from places like New Look and Asda. They’re everywhere so I definitely recommend investing!
5. Marks and Spencer’s cookie dough bites
If you know me, you know that I LOVE cookie dough so when I saw these on the way to London, I could not pass the opportunity to buy them and they did not disappoint in the slightest. Unfortunately, I don’t really have a Marks and Spencer’s nearby so it may be a while before I get them again but they were worth the money! They were basically small cookie dough chunks in a chocolate coating since I’m such a sweet tooth, they were absolutely amazing!
So not many faves for this month but the favourites I do have were definitely worthy of the mention on this post.
What’s been some of your favourites this month?
