I’ve found so many of my favourite things during March and I could not wait to share them all so I’ll keep this intro short and sweet and I’ll dive right in!
Beauty
Beauty discoveries are my favourite and this month I found a lot of favourites!
The first was Maybelline Fit me concealer. This is the concealer I immediately turn to when I don’t want to use foundation. It has such good coverage but also looks really natural which is the look I’ve been going for this month now it’s turning to Spring. It’s was no surprise that this would be a March favourite- I’ve been reaching for it everyday!
I’ve also been really liking Nars Orgasm blush. I included this in a blog post a while ago because I didn’t think it was worth the hype, you can read this post here. I still think it’s a very steep price tag for what it is but I have been liking the natural flush it’s been giving my cheeks this month. It really adds an extra something to my look which is why this has made my favourites despite my previous opinions.
Benefit Roller Lash has also made my favourites this month since it’s such a lengthening mascara but it doesn’t add too much volume and separates my lashes to perfection. Again, because I’ve been liking the natural look this month, this is perfect. I layer it on so much to add the length and it still looks breathtakingly natural. I did neglect this for a while but I’m so glad I picked it up again because it made me realise how much I truly loved it. For me, it’s the perfect foundation!
Fashion
Anklets have become a staple item for me. They’re subtle but do add a little something extra to the outfit. I only have one right now but I’ve been obsessed with it and can’t get enough, I wear it everyday and it goes with pretty much every outfit. I can’t understand why I didn’t invest in one sooner!
While we’re on the topic of accessories, I’ll mention that I’m loving casual earrings. I haven’t worn earrings in 6+ months but this month I invested in a couple of pairs of casual ones and I love them! I used them just to get into the habit of earrings again and I realised how much I missed it, I’ll definitely be buying some more out-there pairs this month!
Bralettes paired with off-the-shoulder tops are also a go-to favourite. I feel like this fits the Spring season perfectly and there’s so many combinations that you can create. Or, if you’re feeling particularly risky, some bralettes can be worn as a top alone. Some provide more coverage than others and can therefore be worn alone which looks super cute, though I feel that’s more for summer than spring as the weather isn’t quite that warm in the UK yet! This is a fashion item you can pull off all of March and has quickly become a favourite- hence its appearance!
As for bottoms, I’m absolutely loving mom jeans! I feel that they look so effortlessly cool and can be worn with pretty much any top. They’re so stylish and in at the moment and I have been wanting some for so long so when I finally took the plunge and purchased some, it’s no surprise at all that they made it onto this list!
Music
To say I’m excited for this section is an understatement. I’m always discovering new music and I’d love to share my favourite songs this month with you! I won’t say what the songs are about but you can find them all on Spotify and I’ll tell you the name of song, name of artist and my favourite lyric from it.
- You to you- Maisie Peters
- “Then I hope she breaks your heart in two, hope she does a you to you to you to you.”
- Heal me- Grace Carter
- “We got similar faces but I don’t feel nothing like you.”
- Flashing the lights- Lilly Ahlberg
“But voulez-vous coucher avec moi? Oh-la-la-la whatever that means.”
- Wild Enough- Elina Stridh
- “I’m sweet wine but, you want whiskey.”
- Bitch- Lennon Stella
- “You know what they say, it takes a bitch to know a bitch.”
Randoms
So, to start of the randoms, I’ll be very random and begin by mentioning Fruit and Barley grapefruit juice. My mum is obsessed with fruit and barely juice and the grapefruit one is by far my favourite. She bought it again the other week and I was so happy. I was definitely the person that drank a significant amount of it! I’m not quite sure why I like it so much but it’s good, we get the one from ASDA. Its perfect for March and it’s my absolute favourite squash that my mum buys!
Another that’s quite random from this month is Gilmore Girls. I started watching it recently and I love it so so much! I’d seen it around but I never really took an interest until I needed something to watch and decided on that. I’m so glad I chose the watch it! The plot is so so good and I’m hooked already! I’m still only on season one though so no spoilers please!
Blogging has also been a favourite of mine this month. I do love it all the time but this month it has been my getaway to forget the stress I have at the moment so it’s been nice to be able to write about things I enjoy as an escape. I’ve also been liking the Spring post ideas I’ve been having all of this month, thoughout March, I’ve come up with some of my favourite ideas!
What have been your favourite things this month, please let me know!
