So since the weather is warming up here in the UK and I’d been saving up some money recently, I decided to treat myself to some new Spring clothes from New Look since their clothes are really cute and not too expensive. I’d say they range between Primark and Topshop with both their style and pricing so unless you’re planning a mad spree, it’s not too damaging to your bank!
So the first outfit I purchased was these cute black trousers and nude top. I love the colour of this top as it suits so many outfits and these trousers are so comfortable and I love how they tie at the front for a little extra touch. These are perfect for spring as they’re cropped and flowy so you won’t be too hot in them, I also love that the top has frills around the sleeves which I feel brings a little girly flair to it. As well as being an adorable casual outfit, it’s also perfect for school where we have a dress code. As you can see, I also matched this outfit with a velvet pink scrunchie that I purchased on this haul too!
This next outfit I’d say is more for end of spring/ start of summer. It’s a really cute white bralette and a pair of mom jeans. I saw this bralette online before I went out and I originally really wanted the yellow one but unfortunately they didn’t have that one in store so I settled for the white since I figured it would look good for when I’ve tanned a bit in the warm weather. As for the mom jeans, I’ve been wanting them for a while now and these are the perfect ones for me! They’re still quite skinny but they’re not tight around the ankle and I love the rips as I only have one pair of ripped jeans and I’m not the biggest fan but these ones are great! I’m also grateful that this bralette has a little extra padding for the small amount of boob that I have so I don’t have to wear a bra with it which is especially helpful for summer/spring when wearing a bra gets a little more uncomfortable!
Next in this hail is this super cute yellow top! It actually gives me Winnie the Pooh vibes since it’s yellow and has a reference to honey on it! I love yellow for spring and summer and I feel that it really compliments dark and tan skin. It goes well with pretty much any skin tone if I’m being honest! I love this as it’s so casual and effortless and can just be thrown on with pretty much any bottoms and just work! I can see myself wearing this a lot with jeans and shorts over the next few coming months.
Of course, I couldn’t go without buying more scrunchies, I swear it’s becoming quite the addiction! However, as soon as I saw these ones I just knew I had to buy them! The colours compliment pretty much everything and since it was £3 for 3, I couldn’t resist (I’m wearing the pink one as I write!). I have so many scrunchies/hair accessories from New Look and they’re all amazing quality so if you’re as engrossed with the scrunchie trend as me then I definitely recommend taking a look at what your local store has to offer!
This is the accessory I think I’m most excited for! I’ve wanted an anklet since I watched the Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverley Place and Suite Life on Deck crossover when I saw that Hannah had one. I just thought they looked so effortlessly cool and would add a cute touch to many outfits! I thought it’d be perfect for spring because it’s when everyone starts to wear cropped bottoms/skirts and dresses and it would bring a little extra sparkle to my outfit! It’s pretty simple but it definitely catches attention!
Finally for this haul is these cute sparkly earrings! As you can see, these were super affordable and can be worn pretty much everyday which was what I was aiming for since I haven’t wore earrings in ages! I just wanted a pair that were casual enough for everyday wear and I think that these are perfect. As soon as I look this photo I put them in and I’m in love. They look pretty gold on this photo but in person they’re rose gold which is my favourite colour and is another factor which led to me buying them. New look have a whole range of earrings to choose from and some pairs that were a little more extra did catch my eye but I stuck with the basic ones and they didn’t let me down!
