Strange title, I know! You all seemed to really like my Life Update post so I thought I’d post another personal post for you all but this time I have a collection of short storytimes to share with you, so sit back, have a chocolate and enjoy my weird but (mostly) wonderful life!
Stalker Boys
This one is probably all down to me, I never seem to attract the right guy at all but I’m hoping one day I do! So, I’d been talking to him for about 2 months now and I was on snapchat to him and he asked what I was doing the next day. I told him that I was going to the beach with one of my best friends since it was her birthday. The reply I got was, “Oh, I’ll come.”
I told him that it was just my best friend and I and she doesn’t know him too well so probably wouldn’t want him there so we left the chat at that.
We travelled to the beach by the train and when we got to the platform, he was stood there! I was honestly so mad, I barely spoke to him all day, but that didn’t put him off, he followed us everywhere we went like Taco Bell and a Candy shop. I was not impressed.
Then, as if that wasn’t enough, he asked me to be his girlfriend later that day when we were just sat on the beach, it’s pretty hard to guess that I said no…
Driving Strangers
This was technically my Mum, not me. We were driving home from work and as we were driving, we saw who we assumed to be my mum’s best friend’s son, walking to his work. His is pretty far away so my mum shouted his name and offered him a lift which he accepted.
As we were driving, my mum said to him, “Oh, *best friend’s son’s name* you should give me your phone number so I can give you a lift whenever Kyra’s working.”
The guy replied, “Thanks but I’m not *best friend’s son’s name*, I’m *his name.*”
My mum literally paused for a moment and just said, “Oh. Do you work with him?”
The guy confirmed he did and my mum just continued driving him to work. It was slightly awkward after the reality hit!
Crazy Night Out
So picture this, someone who you would never imagine to do anything crazy or outrageous not because they’re shy but because it simply would not suit them at all. That’s where this story begins.
This woman is not someone who loves to stand out in a crowd but she also appreciates attention. When she drinks however, she’s a totally new person! She completely transformed and when she came back from the bathroom with one of her friends she surprised us all.
“Go on *her name*, show them what you got!” The friend urge and with a sly grin, this woman pulled out flashing nipples, I almost choked, and I’m not going to repeat what she said after that because I was honestly traumatised! I would never, ever have expected that, especially from her!
Light Switches
Now this one is more of a ‘it was funnier in the moment’ story.
My friends and I were walking up from Chemistry and on the Maths corridor, a child was getting shouted at, but we didn’t know what for but as we walk past, we soon found out.
“Why did you do it?” The teacher shouted; it was clear the child was trying not to laugh.
“I liked the sound.” The kid replied.
“So you decided to play with the switches in my classroom?”
It was the most absurd scolding I’d ever heard and honestly, my friends and I were struggling to hold back from laughing because the teacher was so serious and the kid sounded serious too when he said he liked the sound. Sadly no one else witnessed it so they had to hear it from us, which wasn’t quite as entertaining. One of our friends doubted it even happened at all though I don’t get how you could make up something so strange.
Wagamama’s
One of my favourite food places. I took my sister there for the first time a couple of months back and she sure knows what embarrassment is! First of all, she got scared that she broke the chopsticks, and for those of you who don’t know… You’re supposed to snap them apart in order to use them. She almost apologised to the waiter until I told her that you’re supposed to do that.
Then, at the end of our meal, we got a tip together for the waiter and my sister, raised her hand as if she was in school to catch his attention then got him to hold out both hands so she could drop the tip in. He was quite happy with the tip as it was pretty generous but did she really have to give it to him in that particular manner? I haven’t took her back since then but we are going later this month so I’m dreading how that’s gonna go but I’ll keep you updated, probably via twitter!
I’ve definitely got an interesting life! How about you? Share a crazy story below in the comments and entertain me!
