I absolutely love clothes shopping. There are some shops that I always find myself going back to- they never let me down! Mastering a killer fashion sense is many people’s goals. It’s difficult. I’m happy with my fashion sense and I’ll be sharing how I achieved it today.
If you want to see which stores offer the best fashion choices then continue to read. You won’t be let down!
This is a shop that I’ve recently been going to more. It seems they always have such cute new items available. I just can’t resist! My obsession with topshop started when I bought my first pair of Joni jeans. I’d seen them floating around everywhere on Instagram and I finally bought a pair. I saw why they were hyped about so much! They are so comfy and flattering and fit so well. A belt wasn’t necessary! I also love their tops. They have tops that can fit every single fashion sense from girly to heavy-metal lovers. Every time I go there’s something new that always manages to catch my eye. It’s both a blessing and a curse!
Another reason why I love Topshop is for the photo booths in-store. I’m not sure about others but in my local Topshop, they have a photo booth inside. You take 4 photos then they put them in a cute template for you to take home. I always do it when I go in store and every time the photos end up on my bedroom wall.
My favourite item that I’ve bought from Topshop is my blue off-the-shoulder top. I bought it at Christmas in the sales for £5! Not only was it extremely inexpensive but it’s adorable and I particularly love the flowery details along the top and bottom. I feel it just adds a little something unique. Furthermore the blue makes a difference from the usual blacks and greys I go for.
I rely on New Look quite a lot, especially for shoes. If you’re a girl who hates heels (like me) then you 100% need to try out the comfort heels from New Look. Last year, I had a school dance. I bought my heels the day before the dance. I know I shouldn’t have done but I’m so glad I did! The heels were a dream the whole night. No blisters or aching feet and they were cute!
I particularly like this outfit from New Look as I feel like it compliments my body shape. I feel so confident in it! The top is perfect for summer and the jeans are so comfortable. For ages I’d been wanting a pair of ripped jeans! I feel this is one of my favourite outfits that contribute to my version of a killer fashion sense.
I also always buy my accessories from New Look; they’re so inexpensive. Scrunchies are a particular strong area. They boast lots of different patterns and materials and the earrings there are so adorable. I have a pair of heart-shaped earrings that I wear everyday. Unlike other earrings that aren’t real silver and gold, these ones actually don’t make my ears react so that’s another bonus!
This is probably the brand I’ve been a fan of the longest. I used to be a huge fan of the hoodies from there but since then their branding has evolved and they offer some of the cutest pieces on the market!
In the past I was also a fan of the body spray but the negative I found of this was that they always change the scents every couple of months so if you found a new favourite, you couldn’t rely on it being there next time you went so that’s what got me hooked on Victoria’s Secret scents instead.
I really love this dress that I bought last year. It gives the illusion of a smaller waist and for me, it’s the perfect length. This is a staple if you’re looking to have a killer girly fashion sense. Usually, I don’t go for reds but something about this dress really appealed to me and I think that it’s a nice change for summer, the flowers are a particularly cute touch too.
It also wasn’t too expensive, I’m 99.9% sure that it was under £30 which I think is really good price for a dress, especially one of such good quality that I’m going to get a lot of wear out of! I totally recommend looking in Hollister if you’re in need of a staple summer dress!
When I went to America, I fell in love with the Tommy Hilfiger shop and since then, I’ve always gone in the shops that stock the brand when I’m out of a spree. The thing that makes me love this brand is the colour scheme; navy, red and white just seem to work so well together and I love it. The underwear is also really comfortable with a simple design that I actually really like. It’s rare that I ever go shopping and don’t buy anything by Tommy Hilfiger.
The only complaint I have about this is that it’s quite pricey. In America, I shopped at the outlets so it was extremely inexpensive but here in the UK, the prices are quite inflated!
These were 2 of the items I purchased in America. I liked the simplicity of this top and I loved the block colours of the jacket. It’s probably my most worn jacket, it actually goes with a lot more outfits than you think and it’s something you can just throw on quick and zip up if you have nothing else to wear! Tommy is an effortlessly cool brand that can transform any wardrobe. It’s any easy way to fake a killer fashion sense.
Seen something on Instagram? River island will probably have something very similar. They keep on top of all the fashion trends if they don’t create them and their handbags are actually to die for, some even rival and beat high end brands!
I’ve found that River Island clothes are such good quality and their prices range between New Look and Topshop so for me, that’s the perfect range.
My denim jacket from River Island is a favourite of mine. It’s oversized and has huge pockets both on the outside and inside of this jacket and is perfect to throw on when I decide to wear trousers or leggings. I personally don’t wear double denim as I simply can’t pull it off but for those who can, it’s a good one to match with. Another thing I love about this jacket is that on the back, it says “thanks for nothing” which just adds a little more flair than the average denim jacket.
