How to dress like a real life angel
I absolutely love clothes shopping. There are some shops that I always find myself going back to- they never let me down! Mastering a beautiful fashion sense is many people’s goals. It’s difficult. I’m happy with my fashion sense and I’ll be sharing how I achieved it today.
If you want to see which stores offer the best fashion choices then continue to read. You won’t be let down!
Topshop
This is a shop that I’ve recently been going to more. It seems they always have such cute new items available. I just can’t resist! My obsession with topshop started when I bought my first pair of Joni jeans. I’d seen them floating around everywhere on Instagram and I finally bought a pair. I saw why they were hyped about so much! They are so comfy and flattering and fit so well. A belt wasn’t necessary! I also love their tops. They have tops that can fit every single fashion sense from girly to heavy-metal lovers. Every time I go there’s something new that always manages to catch my eye. It’s both a blessing and a curse!
My Black Friday haul was pretty much all Topshop items as they had gorgeous girly items available- and on offer!
Another reason why I love Topshop is for the photo booths in-store. I’m not sure about others but in my local Topshop, they have a photo booth inside. You take 4 photos then they put them in a cute template for you to take home. I always do it when I go in store and every time the photos end up on my bedroom wall.
My favourite item that I’ve bought from Topshop is my pink boucle skirt. I bought it on Black Friday in the sales for £10! Not only was it extremely inexpensive but it’s adorable and I particularly love the love the pearl-like buttons. I feel it just adds a little something unique. It kind of makes it a little more feminine and vintage maybe? Furthermore the little sparkles means you can dress it up too but not so much that it’s unable to wear casually.
Zara
I’ve been loving Zara lately and I didn’t realise how good it was until I saw the items that Freddy My Love picked up during her hauls. Freddy is a fashion inspiration of mine so anything she recommends is something I’d love to own. Everything she wears is gorgeous!
Zara is pretty hit-or-miss however. By that, I mean that I never find anything on the app or website but when I’m in the store, I can easily find £200 worth of clothes I’d love to buy. Another thing I love about Zara is that most of their clothes are neutral colours. They have a lot of nudes, whites and pastel colours that really appeal to me and my fashion sense.
One of my favourite Zara pieces is this white top. I love the diamanté zip as it adds a little sparkle and a little more something. I also particularly love the frills- that is the major feature after all. It really makes the piece unique and I feel like you need to really love it to gather the courage to wear it in public. I have worn it quite often in public and personally, I’ve received many compliments. This confirmed to me that buying it was definitely the right decision. Usually, I paid this with my corduroy skirt or a pair of high-waisted jeans. The jeans again, are usually from Topshop.
Hollister
This is probably the brand I’ve been a fan of the longest. I used to be a huge fan of the hoodies from there but since then their branding has evolved and they offer some of the cutest pieces on the market!
In the past I was also a fan of the body sprays but the negative I found of this was that they always change the scents every couple of months so if you found a new favourite, you couldn’t rely on it being there next time you went. That’s what got me hooked on Victoria’s Secret scents instead. Most of the products on my favourite body products post is Victoria’s Secret.
I really love this dress that I bought last year. It gives the illusion of a smaller waist and for me, it’s the perfect length. This is a staple if you’re looking to have a killer girly fashion sense. Usually, I don’t go for reds but something about this dress really appealed to me and I think that it’s a nice change for summer, the flowers are a particularly cute touch too.
It also wasn’t too expensive, I’m 99.9% sure that it was under £30 which I think is really good price for a dress, especially one of such good quality that I’m going to get a lot of wear out of! I totally recommend looking in Hollister if you’re in need of a staple summer dress! They also have some adorable co-ords available for summer.
ASOS
ASOS is a an online shopping store and you can find pretty much any clothing item on there. They offer a range of brands as well as offering skincare and makeup too. There’s so many girly fashion pieces on here and so many brands for you to fall in love with. Due to the range of brands, there’s also a range of price tags but if you look hard enough you can find affordable girly staples to add to your wardrobe.
Some particularly famous brands that they stock is Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Ted Baker and Benefit.
One brand I particularly like is Skylar Rose.
This gorgeous dress is from Skylar Rose and it’s often on sale which I know thanks to Shoptagr. Shoptagr is basically a brand where you save fashion or beauty items you like and it’ll tell you when the item is on sale. When I purchased this dress, it was £15 cheaper than the regular RRP. The colour is absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately, I haven’t had an opportunity to wear this yet but I’m excited for when I finally have the chance to!
River Island
Seen something on Instagram? River island will probably have something very similar. They keep on top of all the fashion trends if they don’t create them and their handbags are actually to die for, some even rival and beat high end brands!
I’ve found that River Island clothes are such good quality and their prices range between New Look and Topshop so for me, that’s the perfect range.
My denim jacket from River Island is a favourite of mine. It’s oversized and has huge pockets both on the outside and inside of this jacket and is perfect to throw on when I decide to wear trousers or leggings. I personally don’t wear double denim as I simply can’t pull it off but for those who can, it’s a good one to match with. Another thing I love about this jacket is that on the back, it says “thanks for nothing” which just adds a little more flair than the average denim jacket.
What’s your favourite clothing store and why?
I love all those shops too but one I have never shopped in is Tommy Hilfiger. Your outfit from there looks so cool and casual though! I’ve never seen the photo booths in a Topshop before but I will have a look for it next time I go!
Thank you! I love Tommy Hilfiger and I’m not sure if the booths are everywhere but they’re super fun! Xx
I personally try not to buy from high-street stores anymore as I want to be more eco-friendly. I love charity shops! 💜

I’ve started visiting more charity shops recently and you can find some great buys there!
