I’m so excited to be finally doing one of these posts! I love reading them but I never had enough products to write them myself, but now, I’ve got a small collection of empties that I’m going to write about so if you want to find out all the beauty products I’ve left completely empty, then read on!
Glam Glow Supermud Clearing Treatment
To me, this is such an iconic clay mask, it’s one that I know I can always fall back onto. I’ve already repurchased another full size of this product and I got a mini in a set I was given at Christmas. It’s good for both a full face clean and spot treatment and I always alternate what I use it for, though I must say I tend to spot treat with it more since it’s quite pricey and this way, it lasts a little longer.
I also love the packaging of this, is just seems really clean and quite modern/futuristic. The mask itself dries down quickly meaning it’s not very messy and it definitely cleans out all my pores making my skin feel so smooth once I’ve used it.
The scent can be quite off putting for some but personally, I don’t mind it and I’m sure that if you’re not a huge fan then you can definitely get adjust to it or be willing too because of the magic it performs on your skin!
I mentioned this mask in my post about my favourite face masks.
Rimmel Match Perfection Loose Powder
One of the only powders I’ve been happy to use and I do not regret it! It’s the first loose powder I ever was happy enough to buy and since buying it, I never looked back to pressed powders again! I just think that loose powder has a much more smoothing effect on my skin and looks a lot less powdery and heavy. Also, I feel it helps with my oily skin, and keeps my skin matte for a lot longer which is helpful!
The scent is another aspect I love, it’s a very subtle scent that can easily miss but if you catch the scent, it’s a slightly sweet, typical makeup scent. I know that that’s the worst description of a scent ever but I suppose you’ll just have to buy and see for yourself!
If you’re into baking, this powder will also be good for that because it’s not completely stark white so you won’t get flashback from it which is always a bonus! It’s a very versatile powder and should be a staple in everyone’s makeup bag, and for a drugstore price? It can’t be beaten!
Benefit Porefessional
A cult classic and it’s not hard to see why! This soft primer blues pores as promised and allows your foundation to apply like a dream. I think this is the first primer I owned. If you’re going to buy one then buy a good one and I’m glad it’s my first as it’s so good. Since then I think I’ve bought 4 more tubes of it!
Since purchasing this, I now know how important primer is! The first time I used it, I was blown away with the results! If you don’t use primer then I definitely recommend that you try it right now and obviously, I recommend this one! Benefit was definitely my favourite brand through my younger teen years and this is one of the products that survived it all and still remains a staple in my makeup routine.
Not only is the product amazing, but the packaging is adorable too from the colour scheme to the overall design of the tube, so this is also a product that would make one of the cutest Instagram photos!
L’Oréal Infallible Total Cover Foundation
Total cover is no lie! Every single little blemish on your face will vanish with this drugstore foundation! The coverage rivals many high-end foundations and it has a tendency to stay matte for a lot longer than other foundations I’ve tried. I’ve found that a little goes a long way with this so it lasts a lot longer and because it’s so inexpensive, it makes so worth its money!
Unfortunately there’s only 7 shades but they do cover quite a range of skin tones and if it does match your skin then I highly encourage you to buy it! There’s also a smoothing effect, so if your skin has texture/is bumpy, this foundation can help with it. I used to have really bad acne and this foundation used to give me so much confidence! It also didn’t make me break out more which is always a positive, as long as I washed it off completely, it didn’t make my skin any worse, it didn’t make it better either, though I think my skin saying the same would have been better than it getting worse.
Clinique Superdefense moisturiser
Now, I’ve been using this one at night since it’s quite heavy but it definitely keeps my skin hydrated and when I wake in the morning, my skin is soft and not oily!
This moisturiser also has SPF which would be incredibly helpful if you have dry skin and use it as a day cream but I don’t think it’s very helpful at night though I could be wrong!
It has no scent and it’s easy to rub in, sinking into the skin easily and quickly. If you’re looking to invest in a new face cream then this is one you should try out!
