Exams have been taking over everything recently! The past few months have been nothing but revision and I can safely say that I can’t wait until they’re finished! Since my mind has been focusing solely on work, I’ve decided to share with you what I hope to do once they’re finally finished!
Reading
One of my favourite past times and sadly, it had to be pushed aside for exams. I’m definitely excited to buy a new book or two that I can take on holiday with me and read on the beach. I get lost so easily in books and find myself finishing them so quickly, it’s crazy! One of the first things I’ll probably do on my first day of no exams is pick up a book and get completely lost in it!
Get back into fitness
All my loyalty to working out has been completely neglected and it saddens me because my body has not thanked me for it in the slightest! Hopefully, once I’ve finished, I can get back into it and get a little more in shape for my holiday that is in July. I’m so excited to soak in the Sun for a week with no worries! It’s probably the only thing that’s motivating me to revise, because then, when we’re away, I won’t have to stress because I know that I’ve tried my hardest and I couldn’t have given it any more!
Have a shopping spree
I’ve been saving up my money for a while now and I can’t wait to splash the cash! I mostly think I’ll be spending the money on things for university but I love pretty much any kind of shopping so I’m not complaining! I’ve got to say that my favourite shopping however is for skincare and makeup so I think I might set aside a bit of money just for that. I’m hoping to get some Fenty makeup now that it’s finally landed in Boots, so much more convenient!
Relax!
It seems ages since I’ve fully relaxed because I’ve always had the pressure looming in the background. I kept up with self care which helped a lot but the pressure never really disappeared and I can’t wait to feel the weight lift from my shoulders once I’ve finished my final exam! I’m sure that I’ll still be nervous for results day but at least I’ll know I’ve done my best and I won’t have to worry about the amount of revision I’ve done! This is probably the simplest one yet the one I’m also more excited for!
Practice makeup
I’ve been wanting to master a cut crease for ages now and since I’ll have a lot of time on my hands then it seems like the perfect time to try and practice it, because as the famous saying goes- practice makes perfect! I’ll be able to spend my days watching tutorials and and following along and probably failing many times, eventually though, I will finally master it, and I’ll be taking to social media to share with you when that moment comes! I need to keep an optimistic attitude about this as I usually give up after my first failed attempt!
Blog more!
I’ll be able to move blogging up my list of priorities and I can’t wait! Exams have meant that I’ve had to schedule posts for way ahead of time so I can revise more and I’ve been writing my blog posts in my 10 minute breaks that I’ve been giving myself so it’ll be good to get back into sitting for hours and writing a blog post as a whole instead of in little sections that I have to keep coming back to which makes me forget what I was writing. I’ll be able to take more care and more pride in my writing!
Watch new series and movies
I chose the worst time to invest in Netflix and get addicted to Gilmore Girls! I’ve just been watching the odd episode here and there and I can’t wait until after exams when I can binge everything I’ve been wanting to watch but putting off. I can stay in bed until 1pm if I wanted just watching whatever I please and I’m looking forward to binging more series which then may lead to a new blog post so I can recommend the ones I most enjoy!
Bake
I haven’t baked in ages and it used to be one of my many hobbies so it’s a shame. Once exams are over I think I’ll definitely try and start again, maybe simple with cupcakes and hopefully get more advanced but we’ll see. I definitely have a sweet tooth so adding more sugar into my diet won’t make me too upset though it may contradict the work outs that I’m wanting to do! I do want to share some recipes on my blog though so I’m definitely wanting to try more baking!
