So, I recently bought some things from Pretty Little Thing. This is a very small haul. I thought I’d share because my main aim was to get a dress for my school’s summer ball but I got a bit carried away. Thankfully, I had my student discount to help me out; it was probably the least I’ve spent on clothes in one day than ever before! I usually save up all my money to have a huge haul so it was refreshing to spend only a little.

Dusty pink lace panel tiered bodycon dress
So first up is this dress which I love! I will admit however that it wasn’t my first choice. I did actually prefer a yellow dress that is seen, unfortunately my size was unavailable so I have this one instead and I’m glad I do! It’s a crochet sort of material and I love the tiered design! I also really do love the colour but I think I may prefer this in yellow too. It’s a good colour to emphasise a tan and I’m thinking of going back brunette soon. I just think yellow would suit it better. This is definitely a gorgeous colour though and it’d be appropriate for many occasions so it’d have more than it’s one wear from it. This was £40 but with my student discount it didn’t cost that much! Even £40 isn’t too expensive for a function dress, so congrats Pretty Little Thing! This isn’t a new addition to the website as I’ve seen it on there for quite a while now. I’m guessing it’s just popular enough for them to keep on restocking it. It’s also available in baby blue, navy, dark green and a berry red and these all look so good but for summer, I opted for pink as I felt it was more fitting and I do tend to veer towards more girly designs when it comes to ball type events.
Grey Striped Oversized T-shirt Dress
This is my first ever t-shirt dress and I’m so sad that I didn’t jump on this trend earlier! This material is so soft and comfy and surprisingly it isn’t too short on my tall frame! I bought this to take with me on holiday but I definitely think it’ll get some wear beforehand too! Due to its fit, I did buy this with a belt that I’ll talk about next and I feel it looks better with the belt as it’s not very flattering without due to how big it is. In my opinion, it’s an effortlessly cool look that you can wear daily and not have to worry about how it looks. The pale grey colour appeals to me too. I feel it goes with a lot of other colours without looking strange, however I also think this was the only colour available for this dress. The sleeves come just past the elbows and the price of this is £15 which I think is extremely reasonable, especially for such comfy material! You’d expect to pay only a little less than this at primark!
Pretty Little Thing Black logo tape belt
These sort of belt designs are all over Instagram at the moment, made famous by the brand Off-White. I always thought these looked cool but I didn’t think I could pull it off. The plunge has now been taken though and now I’ve paid for it, I’m going to make it work and I’m going to wear it with confidence. You wear clothes better when you’re confident in them! As you can see, it has the Pretty Little Thing acronym of PLT stitched across it. I also like that these don’t have holes so you don’t have to worry about it being too big or too small as you adjust it to your own unique size! It’s also sturdy when it’s clicked into place so you don’t have to worry about it unclipping and falling off. This was £8 which I don’t think is too bad as it’s fairly versatile and does what it said. It’s also more inexpensive than many other brands so I have no complaints about this at all!
The ordinary Salicylic acid 2% solution
I’ve seen this brand being promoted by so many people who all claim that this product has cleared their skin. My skin has been looking bad at the moment with stress spots erupting like volcanoes all over my face. If I’m being honest, it has knocked my self-esteem, especially considering how far I’d come with it. This was fairly inexpensive (£4.20) and if it’s my key to clear skin then I’d definitely recommend it! I’ll do a review in a couple of weeks when I’ve had time to truly let it work it’s magic. I hear that your skin will purge at first but then you’ll have clear, radiant skin. I can’t wait to hear how that works out! This is also supposedly a dupe to the Drunk Elephant Baby Facial which I’ve been wanting to try out for quite some time now! This product however, isn’t exclusive to Pretty Little Thing but I bought it through this website so included it in this haul!
