Well it’s been a while since I’ve done one of these posts! I didn’t find the need to keep up with my bujo after exams but I remembered how fun it was so I began it back up!
This isn’t as long as my usual spreads as I haven’t included as many pages but I quite enjoy my theme and I hope you do!
Check out my bulletin journal post here.
Cover
So, this month, I went with the theme of ice cream because even though it’s only the beginning, I’ve already had 2 ice creams and a Twister ice lolly. Twisters are my absolutely favourite so I had to include this and it turned out pretty well! I also loved rocket lollies all of my childhood so I thought they should be included though it’s not quite as well drawn. Ice creams are also pretty easy to draw so I’m not mad at how this looks. I wish I was more creative as I’ve seen ice cream themes that look absolutely gorgeous but my artistic skills limit these possibilities. I do however, quite like the font of the title as I feel it getting quite good at calligraphy. That is, of course however, my own opinion.
Monthly log
Now this isn’t the most interesting but it is useful. It helps me keep track of events coming up. I won’t be using weekly logs this month as I don’t have too many plans. As you can see, I do have my car theory test coming up. When this blog post is uploaded however, I will have already done it so hopefully, I’ll be taking to twitter to share that I’ve passed! I have been liking the highlighter lines to write in events in the past months so once again, I brought it into this month. I’m not sure I liked the dripping beneath the events part but it’s there now so if I grow to hate it, I’ll just ignore it. Once again, I do like the title!
Bible quote
Unfortunately, before I started this page, I was applying my serum and my clumsy self managed to splatter it on the page. This explains those oily marks! I do however like this quote, it’s a reminder. Once again I have some ice lolly drawings and I’m proud of the ice cream illustration I managed to pull off. I included the green spots to cover another splat of serum but I think they don’t look too awful with the whole design of this page. I quite like the pop of colour is adds, especially for Summer. I attempted to make it look better by using 2 fonts and I think it did make it look a lot more aesthetically pleasing. Again, of course, I had to include the twister!
Mood tracker
Simple but effective, this mood tracker will be easy for me to keep on top of! Let’s hope that I actually do keep up with it. During exams, I struggled to keep up with trackers since I was too busy focusing on my to-do lists. Now exams are over, I only have to focus on this mood tracker so I’m determined to keep on top of it. In fact, I’m going to make it my goal to keep up with it. I also like that I’ve included 4 colours this month as it allows me to be a little more specific with my emotions. As you can see already, I haven’t had any bad days so you can see that I’ve had a pretty good start to this month!
Monthly favourites
These pages make a habit of becoming, ironically, my favourite page and this month is no exception. It’s very simple but still ties in with the theme as it includes both a fab lolly and again, a twister lolly. Despite the month just beginning, I’ve already picked up some favourites of this month so I’ll be excited to use my bullet journal to put together a favourites post at the end of this month. They were very useful in the past when writing these posts so I’m sure it’ll be the same this month!
So that is all for my bullet journal this month, like I said, significantly less spreads than previous months but hopefully they didn’t disappoint!
Let me know your favourite ice lolly in the comments below!
I really want to create one of these journals, but my artistic skills are literally Z1 – I’m the worst loool
I love calligraphy too, I’ve always wrote slightly cursive anyway – so I deffo need to try it properly.
Thanks for sharing, Nelle xx
You definitely should make one! There’s lots of beautiful minimalistic designs that are gorgeous too! I may write a post soon on how to create one if you’d be interested! Xx

Thank you!
It looks so pretty! I love bullet journals! 😀 Have a wonderful day! <3
Thank you! You too!
Nice post, Kyra! I have never kept a bullet journal line this before, but I can see how it would be useful; especially the mood tracker as a method to create self awareness of one’s wellness.
Roger
Thank you! I find it very useful!
This is adorable! I especially love the mood tracker!
Thank you so much! I wasn’t 100% on the theme this month but I do like the mood tracker!
This is a very cute journal. I’ve always loved the idea of these but I’m such a picky and anxious person that I’d be too afraid to actually just put my pencil down and start drawing stuff for fear of messing up lol. Maybe I should try it just for the sake of challenging that.
You should! It can be as creative or as minimal as you like! I may be doing a post soon on how to create a bullet journal! Xx
Absolutely loved your journal pages. I know I have splattered things over my notebook pages before!
Your mood tracker was my favorite spread of all. I love the idea of keeping track of your moods. Going back over the page once all the little cones have been filled would make for an interesting day of self-exploration. 🙂
Thank you! And I do like my mood tracker, it’s definitely interesting to see how the month has gone! Xx
I tried bullet journaling for a while but got frustrated cause I`m not artsy enough. After I spent a small fortune on stickers, I gave up and returned to my original planners. I really wish I`d be good at this though. Love how colourful our pages are.
Thank you! You don’t have to be creative at all! It can be as minimal as you’d like! I’m doing a post on how to create one soon, maybe you’ll find that helpful! Xx
I love the idea of the ice cream theme, (I eat loads of them over summer too) and the mood tracker. I’ve been meaning to start BuJoing for ages but just never get around to it!
