So, it’s been a while since I’ve done one of these posts! Bullet journals are supposed to make sure you stay organised but I’ve been too busy to keep up with mine recently! I’m back into it now however and I’m so excited for this Christmas layout!

Now let’s get into my theme for this month!
Cover page
So my theme for this month is gingerbread! I got the inspiration for this from Pinterest and I’m actually happy with how this turned out as I’m not artistic at all! I tried to draw it on blank paper at first and it went better than expected. Since my artistic level is close to zero, I knew I wouldn’t be able to recreate it so I cut it out and stuck it on my cover page. Also since last year, my calligraphy has improved a lot, especially since I now use crayola super tips rather than a plain biro. I also love the metallic accents to it; I bought some metallic pens and they make my revision notes look so much cuter and prettier!
Monthly spread
My monthly spread is fairly simple and I just have some monthly goals down the side. Due to the calendar being fairly small, my page was empty so I filled the rest of the page with gingerbread men and little gold sparkles. Personally, I think the gingerbread men are so cute but I also may just be biased as I was the one who drew them! As you can see, I didn’t set myself too many goals as I feel that if I set too many then I don’t stick to them. Instead, I’ve set myself 3 small, achievable goals that I’m more likely to follow.
I love my mood tracker this month! The gingerbread men are so cute and I can really show my mood of the day clearly by drawing the expressions. I feel when they’re colour coded, the options of emotions are a little more limited. The page consists of 31 gingerbread men with blank faces ready for me to fill in! Usually I don’t tend to keep up with mood trackers but hopefully I’ll be able to keep up with it this month since I like it so much!
My weekly spread this month is fairly simple but I’ve found that I tend to use it more when it’s simpler. I used the Christmas week to show on here as I’ve used my metallic pens whereas all the other weeks, I’m using plain biro. I’ve given myself enough space in each date to write a couple of bullet points on what I need to do and since my page is split into 8, I have a box for notes. These weekly spreads really helped me when studying for a-levels so I’m hoping it’ll help during university too when I have to put even more work in.
As usual, I have my favourites page as these help me when posting monthly favourites posts as it helps me remember everything I’ve loved over the month. This set up is very similar to usual layout for this spread. I usually split the page into 4 and incorporate the theme somehow, this month, I’ve added a little gingerbread man in this middle. To compare to my other bullet journal spread, click here. I mostly find fashion and beauty favourites but occasionally I come across random ones that are quite refreshing to include in the monthly blog posts!
Those are the only spreads I have this month as I wanted to keep it simple month as I was easing myself back into it. If I included many then I would have been likely to have lost motivation to continue to fill it in.
What are your favourite months for your bullet journal?
your bullet journal is so cute, i wish I was arty enough to make one look nice x
Thank you! I have no artistic skill whatsoever and there’s so many minimal styles you could opt for! Xx
This is so adorable! I’ve done a few color schemes recently for my journals, but I never considered going so fancy.
I’m going to start doing this in the future though. I love how hours turned out.
Thank you so much! I’m not the most artistic but decorating my bujo every month is so fun! Xx
Awww I love your bullet journal design, it’s really simple but super cute and effective. It makes me want to get my own bujo but I know I’ll become too obsessed so I’m trying to refrain lol!
No do it! It helps me stay so organised! I’m obsessed too! I’ve already designed my January spreads and I can’t wait to post that! Xx
This is soo cutee. I am planning on starting one next year! Do you have any beginners guide? Thanks!
I do! I may have linked it in this post, if not, it’s under the bullet journal category on my menu! Xx
