Happy new year!
This year has arrived at last and I’m sure it’s welcomed by many. Hopefully it’ll be the year we can finally regain some normality!
Thankfully, I can help that normality begin with one of my bullet journal posts! I’m very pleased with this month’s theme. Some spreads were a little rushed but I still think they’re very cute!
So, let’s share my January bullet journal of 2021 with you!
Disclaimer : please ignore my nails in these photos, I am aware the nail polish is extremely chipped!
So as you can see, my January bullet journal theme of 2021 is rainbows!
These cute little boho rainbows were all over social media a little while ago. At the time, I didn’t use them because it was November and I like to do season themes.
For January, I don’t really do a new year’s theme so I used these rainbows and made them fit my personal taste (the colours).
I love this theme due to how simple it is! The idea is from Pinterest and I attempted to do the same lettering as they did. I do admit however that it’s nowhere near as impressive as theirs!
Honestly, this is probably one of my favourite spreads in a long time!
Again, another page I really like. I don’t however like those events that are coming up!
Luckily, my bullet journal keeps me really organised so I should hopefully be ready for these January exams!
I’ve added two rainbows to help it fit the theme and I used the blue in the title to help that also blend it.
Recently, I’ve been really loving that style of header. It’s so simple but I think it’s also really eye catching.
For my goals, I’ve added one word goals. This is to just to keep me on track and remind me what to focus on.
Obviously, I want to be healthy and happy with my body and as for money, I hope to make some from my blog this year.
Despite not having a new year’s themed bullet journal. I did want to have some resolutions to stick to.
The main aim of these is to just make 2021 and extra better year!
I will admit that they’re not extravagant but they’re just little things that’ll make me happy if I achieve them!
Again, I like the title. Those types are a lot easier to master than calligraphy! Then of course, we have the cute rainbows that my January bullet journal is centred around.
Of course, like every single bullet journal layout I’ve ever done, we have my mood tracker.
December was a really good one for me in terms of my emotions. I only had one really bad day where the rest were either amazing or content.
Hopefully, January will bring the same and my mood tracker will be full of pink and purple. Those are my favourite colours so I’m hoping so!
December was also one of the months where I kept up with my bullet journal every single day. Some days I skip a day of filling my journal in but December was done every day!
Like always, this is another simple one.
These trackers are so easy to keep on top of and I can have so many habits to track!
This month however, I’ve only got 4 to focus on. I want to keep up my workouts despite being in tier 4, keep up with my blog despite being at uni and keep up with my water intake.
For studying, I’ve done it a bit different and have opted to write how much studying I’ve done. I think this will motivate me a lot more.
I think seeing the time I have studied will have more of an impact than just seeing a dot beneath it.
Instead of rainbows on this spread, I went with some stars. They’ve been a part of most spreads but I made them the main feature on this particular bullet journal tracker.
These are my most used pages and this is my favourite weekly layout of the month!
I’ve gone back to single page weeklies just to see if I still get on with them.
For the past couple of months, I was using double ones but looking at these boxes, I think I could fit my to-do lists in.
The little quote is very simple but again, it’s another little boost of motivation. This time I did attempt calligraphy and it didn’t turn out all too bad.
I also went with some brighter colours for the rainbows this time and I’m quite enjoying those too! It is very much the same colour palette but just brighter colours over pastel.
This is another page I like to keep simple.
It’s mainly due to personal preference. I just think that the focus should be on the gratitude.
I did want my January bullet journal’s gratitude log to have a bit of an edge though so I used my metallic pens.
For the title, I attempted the title font again but it wasn’t quite as successful/effective. Nonetheless, it wasn’t a complete disaster.
The little hearts along the bottom adds some decoration but not too much.
I think there’ll be so much to be grateful for in 2021 so this will be a page I can easily fill in my bullet journal every day!
And that is it for my bullet journal! I hope you all liked my theme as much as I did!
What’s your January bullet journal theme?
