A morning routine is essential for starting the day right. It can make your day productive, relaxing, and in bad cases, stressful.
So, structuring your morning routine correctly is crucial. You want the best morning routine, right?
Luckily for you, I have some super simple ideas to incorporate into your morning routine. These will not only raise your vibrations to help improve the law of attraction, but they’ll have you feeling like a completely new and better person!
I swear by water in the morning. It makes me so much more energetic than if I drink coffee. That’s why water is the best drink to incorporate into your morning routine.
It also helps you hydrate after hours of sleeping with no hydration. Trust me when I say, there’s nothing better than an ice cold glass of water first thing in the morning.
If you try it and agree, this will not only hydrate you, but will make you feel better instantly. It’s the best mood booster when structuring the best morning routine for you.
I love to be grateful for everything in my life and doing this in the morning, puts me in a better mood for the rest of the day.
If I could give one life tip to everyone, it’d be to never take anything for granted. You’ve been given amazing things in life. In some cases, you may feel you have less than others but you’ll have something that they could only dream of.
To make your gratitude more powerful, I recommend you write it down. It may be in full sentences or a list. Any way you do it increases your vibrations and sets you in the right mindset for the day.
Create your to-do list!
These are so important to maximise your productivity through the day! For some reason, physically writing a to-do list always makes me more motivated to complete it.
I write mine down in my bullet journal. Currently, I use a digital bullet journal and I love my August theme!
My biggest tip is to not overwhelm yourself! It’s easy to write down a million things you want to do, but the chances are you won’t get all of them done. Choose 5 main things to focus on to start with. If you can do them all easily in one day, then gradually make your list longer.
This is something I’ve incorporated more recently into my morning routine but it’s helped so much! It just gives me more energy even though I’m using energy! Sounds strange but trust me with this one!
Of course, this is totally optional as all of these ideas but working out in the morning really does make you feel better.
As Elle Woods said, “exercise releases endorphins, endorphins make you happy and happy people just don’t kill their husbands!”
There are so many YouTube videos you can do and even just 10 minutes a day will make the difference!
Make your bed
Once you’ve made your bed, you’re starting the morning- no going back to bed! I feel like making the bed is just the perfect start to your morning routine.
There are many benefits of this: it makes your room look neater, it’s nicer to get into a made bed at night, it gets you moving straight away!
You don’t have to go all fancy, tucking it in and everything, just neatening the duvet will do. I like to sort my pillows out too but just amy type of neatness is setting you up for the best morning!
To have an amazing day, I highly recommend incorporating meditation to your morning routine. It’s something I’ve included recently and it’s very good for releasing stress.
Since meditating, I’ve been starting the day with a clear mind and it also helps with manifestation! There’s so many guided meditations on YouTube and I try to do 2 a day.
In the morning, I try to do a guided mediation on manifesting money. At night, I try and do a meditation on sleeping better.
It really does help boost your mood! If you don’t feel comfortable just smiling for no reason then start slowly.
When you’re walking down the street, just smile at people you pass, maybe even exchange a “hello” or “good morning.” Obviously it won’t be returned by everyone but having it reciprocated those few times, instantly elevates your mood.
I finish work at 9am most days and I passed an elderly man the other day. As I approached, I smiled at him and he smiled back and we exchanged a good morning. Just from his tone of voice, I could tell that he wasn’t expecting it but was really happy at the interaction. It really was a lovely moment to start my day/end my shift.
Not only does it keep you off your screen a little longer but it can educate you. I love reading self help books as well as fiction books. In the morning, I take a few moments just to read a little more.
Reading has a multitude of benefits and it’s also a form of self care (especially if reading self love books), that’s why it’s included in my post of 60 self care ideas! Why wouldn’t you want to start your morning with self care?
You can read literally anything you want, just just get a few pages further than you was before!
It’s not called the most important meal of the day for nothing! It starts by providing the energy needed to get your morning started and starts your metabolism going which can help you burn more calories throughout the day.
Some people don’t feel like eating in the morning and that’s fine but I’d still recommend to at least eat a little or have something like a smoothie!
That way, you’re still having something but it doesn’t feel like you’re eating. It’s a win-win situation!
Do your skincare routine
If you want clear glowing skin, you want to do your skincare in the morning AND night! Your morning skincare routine can be really simple. My main tip though is DON’T FORGET SUNSCREEN!
Skincare by Hyram has drilled that rule into me now! So my morning skincare routine is to simply cleanse, moisturise and apply sunscreen. Even if you’re not going out you need it as your phone can actually emit UV rays!
Incorporating this step into your morning routine will help make it a habit. If it has its own slot in the routine then you’re more likely to remember and stick to it!
You don’t have to include all of these into your morning routine for it to be “the best” or to have an amazing day. Just adding a few of these will be a step in the right direction!
What’s the one thing you have to do every morning?
