*the item mentioned in this post was kindly gifted but all opinions are my own.
I’ve finally found time to write another post and it’s a review on the lovely brand PMD.
In the past, I’ve compared the PMD clean facial tool to the Foreo Luna mini 2 and I’ve reviewed their personal microderm tool.
The PMD Clean Body*, is a their latest device and I was kindly gifted the product to test and review and give my honest opinions on.
What is the PMD Clean body?
The PMD Clean body* is an innovative device that will do all your shower work for you!
On one side of the device is a silicone bristled head. This holds the same features as the regular PMD clean for your face. It’s to make your products work deeper into the skin and the silicone ensures it’s still hygienic.
I like the idea of having this on the body device as it can help those with body acne. This will especially help as it gets nearer to summer and everyone wants to look their best!
On the other side of the PMD Clean body is the massaging head. This is a golf face with 3 balls to ensure your muscles can unwind and be less tense.
The useful thing is however, that this head is detachable and you also get a silver infused loofah and silver infused body polisher!
Both are silver infused to ensure its antibacterial which is very useful in the loofahs case as they usually have a reputation of accumulating bacteria.
The body polisher is also good as it can save money spent on exfoliators!
As for speed settings, the PMD Clean Body has 4 settings. 2 vibrating cleansing modes and 2 massaging pulsation modes.
It’s method of charging is via a cord so no batteries are needed.
What are my impressions on the PMD clean body*?
Personally, I do really like this product but it definitely has its pros and cons.
It looks very sleek and modern and the bristles have helped my cleanser reduce some acne I have on my shoulders.
The massager is very nice and has been so helpful since being back at the gym as my muscles have gotten sore from the higher intensity training!
I love the fact that it has a handle as it makes cleaning the back of my body a lot easier too now and it’s reassuring to know that the loofah is sanitary!
However, the PMD Clean body is a very loud device when it’s switched on and if you don’t like the sound of vibrations coming from your bathroom then it may not be for you!
Personally, I’m not too fussed on the sound because it works wonders, however, it can also become less than relaxing if you prefer quieter devices.
The other thing I wasn’t too keen on with the PMD clean body was the polisher. To me, I felt it was too rough on my skin. That being said though, it has worked well on softening the hard skin on my feet!
I’ve tried everything to get softer feet and this has been the only thing that worked so if you have calloused feet but want really soft feet, the PMD clean body should work magic!
Who is the PMD Clean body good for?
As mentioned before, due to the bristles, the PMD clean body is perfect for those suffering with body acne.
I do think it’s amazing for anyone looking for a way to transform their self care routine. In the past, I’ve written a post on self care ideas in the past and I’ll definitely be adding massages to that post.
The massaging head of this device definitely works into your muscles and completely relaxes them.
Due to the long handle, you barely have to even lean over and the pulsations does all the movement for you. It’s the perfect lazy way to get a massage!
It’s also recommended for those who want to tone and firm the skin as the massage feature also boasts that benefit!
Those prone to ingrown hairs may also want to give this a go as it also claims that it reduces the chance of getting them!
I’d just recommend it to everyone as I’ve really enjoyed using it and have definitely noticed the benefits it claims to produce!
Have you ever tried a self care tool?
